Article Request Information
You may submit online requests for photocopies of articles from the periodical holdings of other libraries by following these directions. However, please determine if the article you want is available online full-text in one of the library's databases or in print in our periodicals collection. If it is available, you will have immediate access to the article. You can use the E-Journal Portal to locate databases that have the full text online. If you were directed to this page from a database's "Article Linker", please check to be sure the library does not have the article in its print collection. The form provided after clicking on the button below is for article requests only. If you would like to request a book from another library, please review the procedure for obtaining books. The Library can only fill requests for items that we do not own for current Dominican University students, faculty and staff. To facilitate this service, the form requires borrowers to (1) agree to the following copyright restriction and (2) authenticate themselves by providing their Dominican ID.
COPYRIGHT NOTICE:
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or other reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," the user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
By Submitting an article request using this form you agree to abide by the
copyright law for each article that you request.
