Google Scholar
Subjects covered: Nearly every academic discipline, strongest in science and technology. This is a search tool from Google. It indexes scholarly literature in a wide range of research areas and includes links to books, articles in peer-reviewed journals, preprints, and technical reports.

Dominican University is one of Google Scholar's participating libraries. If you are using a network computer on campus, your search result list will automatically include links to the full text of articles if Dominican subscribes to the journal containing the article. After the title of the article, you will see "Full Text @My Library." Click this to view the entire article.

If you are off campus, you should click on "Scholar Preferences" then set the Library Link to "Dominican University".

Note: Google Scholar indexes a subset of the scholarly literature in all fields. Coverage is strongest in science and technology, and for scholarship that is freely available online. This resource should be used as a second choice when researching topics.
