"A Librarian serves as subject bibliographer for each discipline and serves as a liaison with the department and faculty concerning requests for materials, collection development, and budgetary guidelines. Faculty should send requests for new material to the bibliographer who will coordinate the acquisition process. Material should be requested at least 12 weeks prior to the date needed."
